Installation
Installs in minutes
No new equipment and no change to your plumbing. Two parts retrofit onto the setup you already have.
-
Swap the tailpiece
The valve pulls off the tailpiece and the tailpiece pulls out of the hose. Press the holder ring into the hose. A water based lubricant helps.
-
Mount the tray
Place the Tray Mount into your existing hanger and tighten the bottom screw until firm.
-
Park and go
The magnet parks your suction tip chairside, within reach. It lifts off in an instant.

Common questions
Installation takes a few minutes and no new equipment: the valve pulls off the tailpiece, the tailpiece pulls out of the hose, and the wand ring presses into the hose (a water based lubricant helps). Then place the Tray Mount into the hanger holder and tighten the bottom screw.
The full step-by-step walkthrough, including the two minute video, is on the installation page.
Our product uses a neodymium rare earth magnet, which is strong but compact. While magnets like this can pose a theoretical risk of interference with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), the likelihood of interference during routine dental procedures is considered very low, especially with modern shielding in today's devices.
That said, magnets can temporarily alter device behavior:
- A magnet placed over a pacemaker can force it into a fixed pacing mode, overriding the patient's programmed settings.
- A magnet placed over an ICD can suspend its shock therapy function, though it does not affect pacing.
As a safety protocol, we recommend dental providers ask patients whether they have a pacemaker or ICD and keep the suction and magnetized components at least 6 inches away from such devices at all times.
This guidance is based on standard medical device recommendations and reviewed by a board-certified cardiologist.
Our product is patent pending.
We've officially filed a patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to protect our innovative design.
This means the product is currently under review and not yet issued a full patent, but the intellectual property is actively protected.
Yes. Large Magnadent units include a stronger magnet designed to provide additional holding strength when needed. Because HVE hoses can be stiff and place extra pull on the adapter, the stronger magnet helps keep the unit securely in place during procedures.
Park it chairside.
